7.       What are your usual working hours?

---- 9:15 am to 4:15 pm (work usually last till 7pm)

8.       How frequently you get emergency duty?

---- 5 to 6 nights in a month with NO post night off

9.       What do you do as first year, second year and final year

---- 1st year – radio procedures, dates and appointments giving, x ray reporting, presentations, films printing and reports dispatching with ct head reporting and simple ncct pns and hrct temporal bones

----2nd year -  sudden jump to all cases suddenly

---- 3rd year – all cases (allotment is done by senior most and usually a person gets 5-6 cases a day, rest depends on how much wants to write, case discussion with bosses is for all cases, so one need to attend and see all cases (rest is pure wish of the student if one to see all cases or not)

10.   Is there any useless work for residents?

---- PCPNDT form signing, ct scanning the patients, handling crowd for appoinements and films printing for all ct/ mri cases

11.   What are the different modalities available?

---- CT/ MRI/ Fluoro/ USG/ Doppler/ Intevention (basic)/ Xrays (we done do any x ray)

CT:  50 /day – including ncct, cect, angios and triple phase etc

MRI: 15-20 / day (ALL   KINDS OF  MRI are  done except perfusion / BOLD imaging – recent advances)

USG: 200 / day

Mammography: 10/ week

Dental X rays: no idea as to how many are done in a day

Fluoro procedures: 3-5 / week

Elasto: not available

X ray machines: 3 +1 (portable)

USG machines: 3 (wards have portable machines also for which we are called there)

CT / MRI machine – 1 each – 1T MRI and 16 slice CT machine

Interventions: Taps , FNACs, Biopsies (both USG + CT guided), PTBD, Prostatic biopsies, PCNL, Lung biopsies also)

12.   Stipend in 1st year: 40,000 (Secondary DNB)

Stipend in 2nd year: 45,000 (Secondary DNB)

---- yes, 4o lakhs

14.   How frequent are the seminars?

---- 4 to 5 in a month

---- Good – Single room from 2nd year onwards, double rooms in first year.

16.   How is the faculty?

---- No faculty with fellowship, only 2 out of 4 consultants were good (so total of 4 consultants there, 1 professer, one associate, 2 assistant)

---- Very peaceful and pleasant place to stay

---- 7/10 for academics, 6/10 for practicals, 2/10 for helpfulness around
