MRI RIGHT SHOULDER
Protocol: Multiplanar multisequence MR imaging.
OBSERVATIONS:
Supraspinatus tendon: Shows tendinosis with moderate to high grade partial tear along the bursal surface with mild peritendinous fluid collection. Mild to moderate fluid collection noted in subacromial / subdeltoid bursa.
Subscapularis tendon: Shows mild thickening with intrinsic signal changes. Mild fluid collection noted in the subcoracoid bursa.
Infraspinatus Tendon: Mild intrinsic signal changes noted in superior part of the tendon.
Teres minor tendons: No tear.
Long head of biceps tendon: Mild peritendinous fluid collection noted. No tear.
Labrum: No tear.
Joint space: Mild effusion noted.
Acromion: Type II with lateral downsloping. Acromio-humeral interspace measures 8mm.
Acromio-clavicular joint: Normal.
Proximal humerus: Normal.
Glenoid is normal.
Periarticular soft tissues are normal.
IMPRESSION:
Ø Supraspinatus tendinosis with moderate to high grade partial tear.
Ø Mild subscapularis and infraspinatus tendinosis.
Ø Subacromial–Subdeltoid and Subcoracoid bursitis.
