There is evidence of a well-defined, expansile, lytic T1W hypointense and T2W/SPAIR hyperintense lesion measuring approx 35x21x20mm (APXTRXCC) with multiple thin bony septae ,noted arising from the metadiaphyseal (shaft and base )region of the 5th metacarpal with multiple fluid-fluid levels on PDW&T2W images. .The lesion shows heterogenous enhancement with enhancing septae .
Significant cortical expansion and thinning noted with intra-osseous soft tissue component in the dosral aspect of the lesion
Signal intensity changes noted in the palmar and dorsal interossei muscles adjacent to the lesion.
There is lateral displacement of the flexor digitorum superficialis.
