Catheter tip inserted a few centimeters into the stoma. Non ionic monomer contrast is infused into the bowel and spot films taken at multiple intervals
FINDINGS:
Scout films show retention of barium in the ascending colon and the rectum from previous investigation.
Catheter was introduced into the said ileostomy stoma on the right , and contrast was injected serially over a period of time .

Contrast was seen delieneating a segment of small bowel loop on the serial studies undertaken..
However there was no communication of the small bowel loop as noted on the contrast study with any other loop of bowel noted even on delayed studies. .
