Evidence of a well defined T1W hypo,T2W/SPAIR hyperintense multi-vesicular cystic lesion noted involving segments IVA/IVB of the liver.Few T1W/T2W hypointense internal septations noted within the lesion.
Multiple small T1W hypo, T2W/SPAIR hyperintense daughter cysts of varying sizes seen occupying predominantly the periphery of the giant mother cyst.
Multiple curvilinear T1W hyper, T2W hypointensities within the lesion.-Suggestive of detached/collapsed membranes floating within the hydatid sand.
The cystic lesion is seen indenting and displacing the gall bladder and is seen causing mild compression of the common hepatic duct.
