- Pancreas appears diffusely bulky (head – 4cm, neck and body – 3.2cm, tail – 2cm) and shows heterogenous attenuation with fuzzy margins. Part of the pancreatic head and pancreatic duct are noted encircling the second part of duodenum – suggestive of annular pancreas.
- Pancreatic duct appears dilated measures 8mm in maximum diameter.
- Multiple intraductal calculi are noted. Larger intraductal calculi in the head and neck region measure 2.0 x 2.0 x 2.2cm (AP x TR x CC) and 3.0 x 1.7 x 2.5cm (AP x TR x CC). The stones are causing obstruction with dilated, tortuous proximal pancreatic duct with beaded appearance (Chain of lake appearance).
- Multiple parenchymal calcifications are also noted.
- Rim of peripancreatic fluid noted. Adjacent peripancreatic fat stranding is noted.
- The edematous pancreatic head is partially narrowing the intrapancreatic portion of CBD with mild IHBR.
- Thickening of the left anterior renal and lateral conal fascia is noted.
