1.      ll-defined submandibular collection on the left side extending along the submental region to the right side, maximum width of ~3cms.It extends posteriorly upto angle of mandible.

2.      On the left side it extends into the parotid space, deep to the left parotid gland, measuring ~ 1.3cms.

 

3.      It is seen extending medially into the left para pharyngeal space, left paravertebral and pre vertebral space (C2-3 to C4-5 levels), along the left thyroid lobe and further inferiorly into the mediastinum along the paratracheal space, for  ~4.6cms. It is seen in the left preglottic space. There is mild compression on the oropharyngeal airway inferiorly on the left side.
