Osteomyelitis of sphenoid bone

Patient History : A known diabetic.
Gender:Female
Age:30

Abnormal signal intensity lesion is noted involving in the region of left infratemporal region. It is seen involving the muscles of mastication. The lesion appears hypointense on T1W images and hyperintense on T2W images and shows intense enhancement on postcontrast images. The lesion shows restricted diffusion. Associated sinusitis involving maxillary and ethmoid sinus is also noted.
